Prescription Goggles

Prescription goggles have specially designed lenses or special inserts inside of a regular lens that allows people who require prescription glasses to use goggles easily without having large, over the glasses goggles. The goal of goggles is to provide safe and clear vision but people with less than perfect eyesight need an additional lens, or a custom made one, to correct their vision as well as protect their eyes.

Prescription goggles can be found in a wide variety of forms from safety goggles used for shooting, welding, chemistry, medicine and a wide variety of other applications. They can also be used for swimming, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and motocross riding. They can be used by windsurfers, kitesurfers along with a wide variety of other sports.

The best prescription goggles are those with specially made lenses that are designed for the persons specific prescription. These can be very difficult to make fit a goggle frame which is typically curved and oddly shaped which makes them some of the most expensive goggle lenses on the market, but for people with less than perfect vision they are a godsend.
